Mark has been an Anglican priest since 1978, after a first degree in Social Sciences at Durham University and a short career in marketing. Keri and Mark married in 1984 and are proud parents of five children. They spent the first seventeen years of their marriage in two parishes in West Yorkshire where Mark was the Vicar, and lived in Shrewsbury since 2001 when he was appointed Vicar of its town centre churches. Mark retired from parish ministry at Easter 2013 and before his professional retirement, worked part time for GSF alongside Keri, focussing on the spiritual care of those nearing the end of life, Marketing and the development of the international work of the Company. Having had a lot of contact with Care Homes during his years in parish ministry and always making care of the dying a priority, Mark knows how vital the work is that GSF does.
